Easy and delicious spelt pasta
I love eating clean but I also love carbs. Instead of the usual white pasta. Spelt is an easier option to help digestion.
This is an easy recipe when you're starving but also wanting to stay healthy.
Ingredients:
Spelt spiral pasta
Fresh Basil
Grape tomatoes halved
Ham chopped
Mushrooms sliced
1 Garlic clove chopped
1/2 Red Onion chopped
Lemon pepper for seasoning
Method:
Heat a little olive oil in the pan sauté the onion and garlic until transparent. Add in mushrooms, tomatoes and ham cook for 3 mins.
Cook spiral pasta til al'dente.
Mix the sauce mix through the pasta. Throw in some basil and then top with grated parmesan.
