Chocolate muffins - low fat - low carb
I decided to whip up my go to muffin recipe this morning and was inspired to share it with you. It came from the Dukan diet and is extremely healthy and low cal. It isn't very sweet but I like that as I can add honey to taste when they are nice and warm from the oven.
1 cup of Oats
2-3 Tablespoons of Cocoa depending on how chocolatey you want them
1 cup of cottage cheese
1/2 a cup of plain yogurt (no added sugar)
2 tsp of baking powder
It says add Stevia to taste but I think Stevia tastes like poison so I add a little agave and then add honey to the muffin when it's cooked.
Mix all ingredients with a spoon, place into muffin tray and bake at 180 for 15 mins.
I put mine in the fridge and they last for up to a week.
